Special Products From Teva Deli
Many meat alternatives contain egg protein, and therefore are not suitable for vegans. Teva Deli’s goal is to constantly expand and develop our healthy vegan product selection. In addition to our vegan products, we also develop products made without gluten and soy. While not certified gluten-free, our Okara patties with vegetables are made from natural soy puree and without gluten.
We are deeply committed to the environment and the production of greenhouse gases through the production of meat and the importation of food. We therefore make our food as tasty as possible so that people feel that they have an alternative to meat. We also try to source our ingredients locally to cut-down on long distance transportation.
All of our products are completely plant based. An example of our ingenuity when it comes to creating a great tasting product with a great texture are our burgers. Our Vegan burgers are made from quinoa, sprouted lentils, almonds, flaxseeds, chia seeds, brown rice, adzuki beans (which contain a high percentage of antioxidants), mung beans and buckwheat. Other products are produced with a seitan and tofu base. We also strive to produce food that appeals to every kind of diet. For one chain of hotels we have created a special line focusing on raw ingredients for main courses – seitan, tofu, burgers, vegan sausages, all in a refrigerated or frozen state.
We have created a vast range of delicious food that caters for the vegan diet but can also be enjoyed by everyone else. Our range includes: burgers, patties, seitan meals, sausages and much, much more. Our products can be used on their own or a basis for the cook to create something wonderful from. We want to make sure that just because somebody does not want to eat meat does not mean that they should have to do without.

A Little Bit of History
Teva Deli was originally established prior to the growing awareness of veganism in Israel to meet the demand, and address the needs for vegan food by the Hebrew Israelite community of Dimona, who made Aliyah in 1967.
The original food production facility was established in 1983 and initially focused on soybean-based products such as soy milk, tofu, soy ice cream and others. Today it produces over 40 products on four different production lines: burgers, seitan (gluten protein), schnitzels and tofu.
