Special Products From Olea Essence
Olea Essence produces a wide range of high-quality, olive-based products for the care of the body, face and hair, we also manufacture baby care products, anti-ageing products as well as bath additives, daily care essentials and scrubs.
Olea Essence has strong roots around the Sea of Galilee and our products are created respecting 6,000 years of olive consumption and practices and in accordance with our sustainable culture. We combine this with our belief in innovation and research which takes place in our dedicated research and development facility.
Our manufacturing process is very environmentally friendly as it uses most of the olive’s components, mainly the olive and leaf extracts, meaning little goes to waste. As we research and manufacture our products in our dedicated facility, we can adapt them to a customer’s exact needs, ensure the quality of each batch and manage a quick turn-around time.
Making our skincare and wellness products is no longer just an art. It has developed into art and Science. At Olea Essence we believe that there is direct communication between the skin and the brain. Applying cosmetics to the skin creates different kinds of skin experiences which are followed by brain responses via nerves, enzymes and more.
The science behind our research is focused on understanding these issues, studying them and developing formulations. Our art is to make the product.
All our creams, having been made of olive matter, olive oil or leaf extract or olive extracted water or olive fruit, will be absorbed within a few minutes thus allowing the skin to breathe at night, all night, or through the day. Protecting during the day, healing at night. This is extremely important. This is anti-ageing vs. ageing.
We developed olive-based, fully natural skin creams which work beautifully according to many users. As we add science to our art, we added a special real silk to the formulation and found out that our silk and olive combination created a more efficient anti-wrinkle effect, reducing it, making it less visible.
Our family grows its olives on an idyllic olive grove round the Sea of Galilee. We take pride in farming using sustainable practices, making sure that we look after the land we have guardianship over.
Most olive production plants only use the olive, discarding other parts such as the leaves and the stones. Fresh olives contain approximately 30% husk (the olive flesh itself), 20% olive oil and 50% “black water,” which has a very high density of antioxidants that cannot be absorbed and harmfully builds up over time in the soil and groundwater. Rather than dumping this material, as most olive mills do, we developed a groundbreaking, patented proprietary process to ferment the black water so that it is no longer environmentally detrimental. This means it’s safe for many uses as a fully natural active ingredient. We use this key ingredient in our skincare and in our Eco Olea line of household cleaning products, turning what was considered waste into a purifying, antioxidant-rich resource.
We put every effort into making sure that our production process produces the highest quality, natural products but we also make sure that nothing goes to waste.
Our factory and our visitors’ center are located at the same place. Every year, we host approx 100,000 visitors with whom we share our passion and focus on our sustainable culture and cutting-edge technology.

The Beauty of the Olive
A Little Bit of History
The Talmon family moved in 1997 from the suburbs of Tel Aviv to the beautiful nature Sea of Galilee, choosing to live in a truly sustainable way. They began planting olive trees as has been done in the area for many centuries, pressing and selling their own olive oil, and building an olive oil mill. Their committed themselves to the sustainable, environmentally conscientious way of cultivating olives.
They established a line of laboratories to explore olive residue, olive oil and their many virtues. Their mission being to develop olive-based skincare that is eco-responsible and fully natural, using all of the olive to the last molecule and disposing of nothing.
