The original churros recipe came from a friend in South America some 20 years ago. Years later, this recipe was adjusted and developed using local kosher ingredients while retaining the authentic taste of this classic deep fried dough that makes people happy around the world.
Churros, a popular South American dessert, a regular at carnivals or street fairs are made with simple choux pastry fried in hot oil, dipped in thick Spanish hot chocolate or coated in cinnamon sugar. With a spongy soft center, crisp edges, and sweet coating, Churros are simply the ultimate treat.
The dough of a churros is extruded through a churrera, a syringe-like tool with a star shaped nozzle giving them the distinctive ridges. Our frozen churros are premade and frozen into hoops making them the perfect convenience snack. Our 2kg bags of churros come frozen making them just about as easy to use as you can get. Leave them in the freezer and just take out what you need, pop them into a pan of hot oil and Bingo hot churros within 5 minutes!
Our churros factory is the first and only factory in Israel for the production of original churros. Neatly packaged churros are then distributed throughout Israel as well as Europe and the U.S. The churros are oven ready, and perfect for air frying. They contain no preservatives, no trans fat, and no palm oil.

A Little Bit of History
25 years after returning from his post military service trip to South America, with a recipe for the traditional churros, Avi Maka tried it on his family. Everyone fell in love with the sight and tastes of these home cooked churros and so the first Israeli churros stand was born. Fast forward 10 years with a fully operating factory, a variety of delicious churros lines and distribution agreements in the U.S and Europe - The Original Churros is a making people happy in Israel and beyond.
